PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s Budget 2017 is one that attempts to cover broad strokes amid a constrained environment of uneven global economic growth, low oil prices and ongoing fiscal consolidation.

• Budget 2017's allocation stands at RM260.8 bil is up 3.4% from recalibrated Budget 2016
• Putrajaya allocates RM214.8 bil for Operating Expenditure, with RM46 bil for Development Expenditure
• Under Development Expenditure, the economic sector will receive the highest share of RM25.9b, followed by social sector with RM12.2b

KUALA LUMPUR, 21 Okt (Bernama) -- Kerajaan menyediakan rangsangan besar untuk pelaburan swasta dan perusahaan kecil dan sederhana menerusi strategi properniagaan dalam Bajet 2017, yang jelas bertujuan meningkatkan keyakinan pelabur dan memacu ekonomi ke tahap yang lebih tinggi meskipun berhadapan halangan luar.

KUALA LUMPUR, 21 Okt (Bernama) -- Kementerian Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri (MITI) akan memberi tumpuan untuk memperkasa perusahaan kecil dan sederhana (PKS) serta melonjakkan eksport negara pada tahun depan berikutan peruntukan Bajet 2017 yang diumumkan hari ini.
