KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 (Bernama) -- Following are the economic highlights of the 2017 Budget themed, “Accelerating Growth, Ensuring Fiscal Prudence enhancing well-being of the Rakyat," tabled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in Parliament today.

KUALA LUMPUR -- The government provided a major boost to private investments and small and medium scale enterprises through pro-business strategies in the 2017 budget that clearly is set to instill greater investor confidence and propel the economy to greater heights amid external headwinds.

Budget 2017 themed “Ensuring Unity and Economic Growth, Inclusive Prudent Spending, Wellbeing Of The Rakyat”, is comprehensive and supportive of SMEs, with year 2017 declared as the Start-up and SME Promotion Year.

Selain itu, jaminan sehingga RM15 bilion bagi pelbagai skim Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Bhd (SJPP) akan dilanjutkan tempohnya sehingga tahun 2025, kata Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak ketika membentangkan Bajet 2017 di Parlimen, hari ini.

PUTRAJAYA: Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia should take advantage of the guarantee schemes made available to them by the Government to gain better access to financing.

Kuala Lumpur: Perusahaan kecil dan sederhana digalakkan memohon kemudahan pembiayaan di bawah dua skim jaminan iaitu Skim Jaminan Sektor Perkhidmatan (SJSP) dan Skim Jaminan Pinjaman Bantuan Banjir (SJPBB).
