SJPP Support Helps Malaysian SMEs Scale Up Operations

Three Malaysian SMEs have credited Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Bhd (SJPP) with enabling them to turn growth plans into action across the manufacturing, packaging, and FMCG sectors.
Tonasco Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Molhit Pack Sdn Bhd, and Bubbles O2 Sdn Bhd each received SJPP-backed financing guarantees, allowing them to invest in new machinery, expand production capacity, and strengthen operations.
Lin Sheau Wei, Managing Director of Tonasco Malaysia, said: “SJPP helps in increasing the company’s investment in high-tech machines and the direction of smart factories, which makes the company’s competitiveness stronger and thus opens up new capabilities in line with the industrial upgrading agenda.”

Molhit Pack used the financing to relocate to a larger warehouse, hire additional staff, and acquire new machines, with Managing Director Fatin Fatinah Molhit stating, “SJPP served as an important catalyst that strengthened financial institutions’ confidence, supporting Molhit Pack’s sustainable growth and expansion.”
For Bubbles O2, a relatively new FMCG player with limited corporate financing history, SJPP support eased collateral requirements and improved financier confidence.
Director Ain Azizah Binti Ariffin said, “SJPP functions as a driver of financial confidence, enabling the company to scale in a more structured and sustainable manner.”
Within six to twelve months, the companies reported faster production turnaround, more stable supply chains, and improved credibility with suppliers and financial partners, highlighting the impact of SJPP in helping SMEs overcome financing challenges and achieve growth.
